Terms of Service

In effect from 2 November 2026

These terms govern the use of Poinpas, a loyalty points service for sellers made by PT Jipraks Digital Indonesia ("we"). By creating an account or using the Poinpas API, you ("the seller") agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

1What Poinpas provides

Poinpas keeps customer points and tiers for every store in your account. Points come from sales your point-of-sale app sends through the API or that you record at the Till in app.poinpas.com, and customers can redeem them for a discount.

Poinpas does not define rewards and holds no catalogue of items. When points are redeemed, Poinpas answers with a rupiah value, and your point-of-sale app applies it as a discount.

You set the rules of your points programme yourself (rupiah per point, redemption value, tiers and point expiry). You explain those rules to your customers and honour them.

2Account and security

To create an account you must have legal capacity under Indonesian law, or be authorised by the business you represent.

An account has one login. Anyone holding that login can change the points rules and manage API keys, so keep your password safe and share it only with people you trust.

The details you enter at sign-up must be true, and the account email must be working. You can sign in only after confirming the email through the link we send. We also use that email for password resets, billing and notice of changes to these terms.

Each API key belongs to one store. Keep it like a password. If a key leaks, revoke it in the app and create a new one. Sales that arrive with a key you have not revoked are recorded for your store.

3Your customers' data

For your customers' personal data, you are the controller. We process it on your behalf, only to run the points programme, as a personal data processor under Law Number 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (the PDP Law).

Before registering a customer, ask for their consent and tell them what is recorded. Poinpas needs only one identifier (phone number, email, card code or another) and a name if you add one.

If a customer asks for their data to be deleted, anonymise it from the customer page in the app. Their identifier and name are erased, and their points history stays without an identity.

Do not put data the points programme does not need, such as national ID numbers or health data, into any field in Poinpas.

4Plans and payment

Plans are sized by active members: unique customers who earned or redeemed points at least once in a calendar month, counted across all stores in your account.

There is a free plan with a small member limit. Each plan's name, limit and price are listed on the billing page of the app. Paid plans are paid in advance for each calendar month through Doit (doit.id).

An upgrade in the middle of a month takes effect as soon as the payment arrives. You pay the price difference for the days left in that month, including today. A downgrade takes effect from the next month.

If the payment for a new month has not arrived, your account keeps last month's plan for the grace period shown in the app. After that your account is on the free plan until the payment arrives.

If this month's active members pass your plan's limit, Poinpas refuses new sales and redemptions until you upgrade or the month changes. Cancels, corrections, confirming points already held and releasing holds keep working, so customer balances stay correct.

Payments already made are not refunded, including for the rest of a month after you downgrade or stop using Poinpas.

We may change plan prices. A new price does not apply to a month you have already paid for, and we announce it in the app before the next billing month starts.

5Use that is not allowed

You may not use Poinpas to:

  • do anything that breaks Indonesian law, including deceiving customers;
  • record fake sales to add points or alter reports;
  • access accounts, stores or data belonging to another seller;
  • disrupt the service, for example by sending excessive requests or trying to break its security;
  • resell access to Poinpas without our written approval.

6Suspension and leaving

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. While it is suspended, you cannot sign in and every API key in the account stops working. We record the reason and send it to your account email.

You can leave at any time. To close your account, send a request from your account email to halo@poinpas.com. We deactivate the login and every API key in your account.

Sales and points history is recorded by adding rows only, so every customer's balance can be traced. What happens to this data after an account is closed is explained in the Privacy Policy.

7Availability

We keep Poinpas running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, network problems or problems at our providers can make Poinpas unreachable for a while.

Your point-of-sale app should be able to finish a sale without points when Poinpas does not answer. That sale can be sent later, no more than 7 days after the sale time.

We may change or add features. API changes that require point-of-sale apps to be updated are announced in advance in the API documentation.

8Limits of liability

Poinpas is provided as is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from the use of Poinpas, such as lost profit or lost customers.

Our total liability for any claim is at most the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the event the claim is based on.

You are responsible for your points rules, the promises you make to your customers, and the data your point-of-sale app sends.

9Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we send notice to your account email at least 14 days before the change takes effect, except for changes the law requires to take effect sooner. If you keep using Poinpas after that date, you accept the new terms.

10Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes are first settled by discussion. If no agreement is reached within 30 days, the dispute goes to the competent district court in Indonesia.

These terms are available in Indonesian and English. If the two differ in meaning, the Indonesian version prevails.
